Money decisions carry real consequences, so we hold every Wyzfund guide to the same standards. This page explains how we research, write, update and correct what we publish.
How we research
We start from primary sources whenever they exist: the IRS for tax rules and contribution limits, the Social Security Administration for benefits, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for loans and credit, the SEC and FINRA for investing, and state insurance regulators and the NAIC for insurance. Where a number matters, such as a contribution limit, an income threshold or a rate, we check it against the source before publishing and link to that source in the article.
How our guides are made
We want you to know exactly how what you read here is produced. Wyzfund guides are drafted with the help of artificial intelligence tools. A person on our editorial team sets the topic, checks the figures and sources, edits the result and decides what gets published. No guide is written by an individual expert, and we do not present our writers as financial professionals, because they are not. Articles are published under the byline “Wyzfund Editorial” for that reason.
AI tools can make mistakes, including with numbers. That is why we link to the official source (the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the CFPB and similar) wherever a figure matters, and why we ask you to confirm anything that affects your own money with that source or with a licensed professional. If you find an error, write to contact@wyzfund.com and we will review and correct it.
How we write
Guides are written in plain English for people who were never taught how money works. We use real numbers and worked examples, and we show our math. When we calculate a projection, we state the assumptions, such as the rate of return, so you can change them. Our calculators use the same formulas that we describe on the page.
How we keep guides current
Financial rules change every year. When limits, rates or laws change, we update the affected guides and mark them with an “Updated” date, and recently updated guides appear at the top of our home page. If a guide has not been revisited recently, treat any time-sensitive figure with caution and confirm it with the linked official source.
What we are not
Wyzfund is an educational publisher. We are not your financial advisor, tax preparer, lawyer or lender, and nothing on this site is personalized advice. Your situation is unique. For decisions that depend on your specific facts, speak with a qualified professional. Read our full disclaimer.
Independence and advertising
Wyzfund is free to read. If we ever display advertising or earn a commission from a link, that revenue does not decide what we recommend, and we label sponsored content clearly.
Corrections
We make mistakes, and we want to fix them. If you spot an error or an outdated number, please contact us with the page and the correction. We review every report and update the guide when it is confirmed.
